Extracting Data with Kion- Within Kion the data collected over several months contains comprehensive insights into usage patterns, and resource allocations, and provides potential areas for cost optimization.
Reviewing Design Engagement Artifacts- We conduct a thorough review of the design engagement artifacts and data flow diagrams. This step ensures that all collected data remains accurate and up-to-date. It’s a crucial checkpoint that helps us validate the current state of the customer’s environment before proceeding further.
Scheduling a Customer Consultation- Once the data review is complete, we schedule a consultation with the customer. During this meeting, we present our findings through a detailed presentation created by our team. The presentation covers the existing environment and highlights the data pulled from Kion, illustrating how cost savings can be achieved.
Explaining the Next Steps After presenting our findings- we outline the next steps for the customer. If they choose to proceed with the cost savings initiatives, they submit a General Service Request through the CIOCentral. The ticket is then routed to our ECM (Enterprise Cloud Management) operations team for processing. Please include in the short topic field "Route to HS-ECM-Operations.
Implementing Changes- The ECM operations team addresses the request within a few days. Depending on the nature of the changes, some adjustments may be seamless, while others might require a system reboot. Our team collaborates closely with the customer throughout this process to ensure smooth implementation.
Ongoing Monitoring and Reporting- Once the changes are applied, our ECM team continues to monitor cost changes through a dedicated dashboard. We provide the customer with detailed reports on the cost savings achieved over the following months. This ongoing effort ensures that the customer continues to benefit from optimized cloud operations and realizes sustained cost savings.
